Two neighbourhoods in the Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth area are now 'nearly Covid free'

Cases of positive Covid-19 cases continue to fall across Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth - with two areas now recording fewer than three cases.
The latest Government figures cover the seven-day period up to February 16 and show that the Kenilworth South ward has been classed as 'nearly Covid free'.

Hide AdJust over the Warwick district border, Balsall Common is also in the same classification (with fewer than three cases recorded).
The area covering Cubbington, Stoneleigh and Radford Semele is not far behind, recording just three new cases.
Kenilworth West recorded nine new cases and Kenilworth East recorded ten (the latter actually seeing a slight increase on last week's data).
And the low figures continue in Warwick and Leamington - four areas recorded just single-figure increases: Warwick North; Leamington West and Milverton; Lillington; and Warwick South West and Aylesford.

Hide AdThe figures in many of the rural areas continue to fall sharply, with the overall district recording a 25 per cent drop in cases (compared to the seven days previous) and a rolling rate of 98.1 cases per 100,000 people - still below the national average.
The overall rate for Warwickshire is 134.1 cases per 100,000 people which is just above the national average.
The Stratford district has the lowest rate in the county (79.2) while North Warwickshire has the highest rate (197.7).
