Covid-19 rates continue to be very low in the Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth area - with some areas continuing to record no new cases.

The latest data map, which covers the seven-day period up to March 31, shows more areas moving into the category classed as 'nearly Covid-free', which means it has recorded fewer than three cases over that time period.

Overall, the rate for the district is continuing to fall, with just 43 new cases and 29.9 cases per 100,000 people over the seven-day period, which just about the national average figure (seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000).

This means that the Warwick district continues to have the lowest rate in the county - the Stratford district is a close second with a rate of 33.1 per 100,000 people.

Here are the areas of the district, and some of the nearby wards in the Stratford district, that have recorded fewer than three cases over the seven-day period up to March 31:

- Bishops Tachbrook, Barford & Hatton Park

- Kingswood & Leek Wootton

- Kenilworth East

- Balsall Common

- Warwick North

- Leamington West & Milverton

- Lillington

The areas with the highest rates are:

Leamington East & Sydenham - 63.2

Wellesbourne & Snitterfield - 60

However, it should be noted that even these four rates are relatively low, with only single figure rises.
