Every neighbourhood within the towns of Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth is now in the lowest category when it comes to Covid rates - apart from one area.

But even that ward - Leamington Brunswick - has only seen four cases over a seven-day period up to April 13. This gives the area a rolling rate of 36.6 cases per 100,000 people. While that is low, it is still just above the national average.

Over the same time period, there have also been four cases in the Bishops Tachbrook, Barford and Hatton Park area and three in the Kingswood and Leek Wootton area.

But the whole of Warwick and Kenilworth is now in the lowest category, classed as 'nearly Covid free' (meaning fewer than three cases have been recorded). This is the same for five of the six areas of Leamington and Whitnash (with Leamington Brunswick being very close to joining them).

Overall, the Warwick district recorded 16 cases over the seven-day period up to April 13, which means it has a rolling rate of 11.1 cases per 100,000 people - which is below the national average.

Elsewhere, the Rugby borough has seen a 36 per cent fall in cases but Nuneaton and Bedworth has recorded a 15 per cent increase.
