Family-run business in Warwick wins national award

An independent, family-run used car dealership in Warwick has won a national award.

Just Nice Clean Cars, which opened in 2016, has been named ‘UK Independent Dealership 2020 – General Sales’ in the UK motor industry.

The award was recently announced via a video release announcement due to COVID-19 restrictions, held by Motor Trader Magazine and MotorTrader.com.

Single-site and multi-site dealerships from across the UK were competing for the title.

The judges praised Just Nice Clean Cars the 2020 for its 'exceptional showroom presentation standards, excellence in marketing, used car sales and training, as well as its local community initiatives and supporting customer testimonials'.

Carl Jay, owner and managing director, said: “We are absolutely elated to have been awarded this highly prized title.

"It is testament to the hard-work the whole team put in to maintain our excellence in customer service and the all-round presentation of the business.

"Whilst we are low on stock at the moment as a result of the pandemic, we believe in always providing the best possible used car buying experience, with the underlying principle that buying a car from us is the start of your customer journey, not the end.”

Charlotte Jay, owner and director, added: “We saw the video announcement after receiving a Twitter message of congratulations and thought they must have got it wrong.

"I think I must have watched it three or four times before it sunk in. We have an amazing team across the whole business that need recognising for their efforts as without them this wouldn’t have been possible."
