“We’ve got to a strike a balance.
“We know times are hard for supporters but if the squad is not competitive they’ll stop coming through the gate.
“We saw that in 2012 when we went on that bad run.”
In a nod to the younger generation, the admission price for under-16s has been frozen at £3, while a new student rate of £5 has been introduced.
Fans can also take advantage of an early-bird deal which offers an adult season ticket for £185 until July 31 and Scott says that is where the value can be had.
