Pirates and other performers haul in crowds at Warwickshire libraries
Thanks to a £49,900 from the Arts Council, the library service ran 74 Fantastic Fun With Words sessions across 17 libraries in the county.
This included the Book Pirates - an original story performed by professional actors and teenage performers, featuring a pirate ship that took the performers around the library for different parts of the show.

Peter Knott, area director at Arts Council England, said: “We’re really pleased our funding has helped to give people across Warwickshire the opportunity to take part in and enjoy artistic activities at their local library.”
County councillor Kam Kaur said: “The libraries’ staff and creative partners put a lot of effort into organising and running these events. The festival’s success is testament to their hard work.”
