Health bosses are urging people to take up their vaccinations after a 'significant' drop in people coming forward for their jab in Leamington.
While the programme is still going very well across the town, the uptake for people aged between 50-59 has fallen - and the centres have unused vaccine that is about to expire at end of this week.

Dr Ollie Lawton, clinical director for North Leamington Primary Care Network, said: "We can’t move on to next cohort until we have responses from 80 per cent of them, where a response is either declining the invite or booking an appointment.
"We are getting to the point where we will have vaccines leftover in fridges that we cannot use."
Dr Lawton said the reason for the slow update might be apathy or scepticism.

"Even if they don't want it, we still need them to reply to let us know.
"If you have any questions and the safety of the vaccine, please speak to your doctor."
The good news is that about 32,000 people in Leamington have now received their first vaccine to date.

And only 82.8 per cent of clinically vulnerable patients have attended their vaccine. The vaccination team said it really wants to get that figure up to 90 per cent at least but they are struggling to attract them in.
