Leamington Art Gallery & Museum, 11am to 4pm: A Medicinal Jewellery Workshop will be led by members of Craft Space. Participants will spend the day making polymer clay jewellery inspired by the body and medicine. Craft Space is a ‘crafts development organisation’ with over twenty years’ experience in educating people about craft. Cost: £20 per person. Dale Street Methodist Church, Leamington, 1.30pm to 2.30pm: WAGS Gang Show is calling all Beavers interested in being in the show to go along to the registration and first rehearsal. The WAGS Gang Show is a variety show performed by members of Warwickshire Scouts and Guides each year at the Spa Centre, Leamington. St Mary’s church, Warwick, 7.45pm: Collegium Choir will be holding an open rehearsal of John Rutter’s requiem. All interested singers are warmly invited whatever their experience of choral singing. Admission is free and music will be provided for the evening. The rehearsal runs from 7.45pm to 9.45pm. The choir is pleased to welcome new members and will be performing the Rutter Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs on Saturday March 19.

After their uplifting performanceof the number one single ‘Sing’ with Gary Barlow at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the famous cchoir have been invited to tour their inspirational talents. Spa Centre, Leamington, 7.30pm: Simon Weston - My Life, My Story. In April 1982 Argentina invaded the Falklands Islands, which had been controlled by Great Britain for nearly 150 years, and resulted in the deaths of 655 Argentine Soldiers and 255 British Serviceman. In one of the most horrific moments of the conflict, the RFA Sir Galahad was bombed by two Argentine aeroplanes, with Simon Weston on board. This was an event which would change his life forever as Simon suffered 46 per cent burns to his body. Today he has become one of the most recognised faces of the conflict and for the first time, Simon is taking to the stage to tell his story. Tickets cost £17.50 or £15.50.
