It was a top retail weekend for traders in Warwick as more than 1,000 people stayed in town to shop and watch the free Christmas film screenings.
Armed with camping chairs, fleeces, blankets and even sleeping bags, hundreds shopped before they dropped in Market Place to watch films like Love Actually and Elf.
At Present Days in Swan Street, shop owner David Way, who has been in business for 34 years, reported a record-breaking weekend.
Warwick Rocks founder Jack Linstead, who organised the event with barber Paul Evans and other volunteers, said: “It was incredible to see the square absolutely packed on a cold Sunday evening with people watching Elf. The atmosphere and feedback was amazing.
He added: “It was a really special Christmas weekend.”
There was also a treat for the crowds on Sunday night with a surprise performance from local singer Vicky Jackson who is currently on a UK tour and has supported the likes of Rod Stewart.
