Former Wasps and England winger Paul Sackey was on hand to lend some star quality to Leamington RFC’s 16th Primary Schools Tag Festival.

Fifteen teams from nine schools took part in the tournament, which produced in excess of 430 tries, one of which saw Sackey outflanked by a Telford School winger in the final game while guesting for Our Lady and St Theresa’s School.

The University of Warwick women’s rugby team refereed the games on the day having supported the schools in the build-up to the tournament, while the European Cup was on hand for photo opportunities.

Harbury School won the Fair Play trophy.
