Leamington manager Paul Holleran has began building his squad for the 2012-13 season with the addition of prolific Chasetown marksman Dean Perrow.

Perrow 26, won the Southern League’s golden boot in 2007/08 after scoring 32 goals and went on to finish top of the Scholars’ goalscoring charts the following season with 33.

He was unable to prevent the Staffordshire club from dropping out of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division last season, but still finished top scorer with ten.

Holleran, who has previously worked with the striker at AFC Telford, was delighted to attract Perrow, who also lists Sutton Coldfield Town, Willenhall and Rushall Olympic among his former clubs.

“He’s a proven, consistent goalscorer who has also won the golden boot,” said Holleran.

“He’s a great finisher and has got the enthusiasm and desire to do well.

“He wanted to play in the Southern League and Leamington was a good pull for him and we’re delighted to have got him.”
