Birmingham City sign up Warwick Juniors youngster
Warwick Junior Angels under-16s’ Jess Carter has been taken on by Birmingham City Ladies’ academy.
Carter has been at Warwick Juniors since she was seven and club president Dean Brandrick said it was a tremendous opportunity for the youngster.
He said: “This is a superb achievement for a local girl in Warwick to get the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest ladies’ clubs in the country.”
Meanwhile, Warwick Juniors have been awarded Charter Standard Community Club status by the Football Association in recognition of their work at the heart of the community.
