County Ladies Superleague runners-up Leamington Sureway won 4-3 at champions Coventry Railway in their final match of the season.
They nicked the result despite conceding a point as they could only field six players. Denise Jones cancelled that out, beating Cheryl Jackson 3-2.

Coventry's Donna Pinch was no match for league averages leader Gail Marshall, who saw her off 3-0, averaging 20.31 per dart.

Helen Rigg put Sureway 3-1 up overall by beating Kristeen Greison in four legs and Denise Burke (18.33) clinched overall victory by seeing off Tracey Edgecombe, also in four.

Railway closed the gap in the final two games, with Sally Dunkley and Angela Dunkley both beaten 3-0. Sureway outscored their hosts in ton-plus terms by 22 to 18, while the legs were shared at 12 apiece.

The final listings are still awaited, but Gail Marshall is expected to top the averages honours with the most games won.

The Ladies' Superleague annual meeting is at Canley Club on Friday June 6. Any teams interested in entering next season should contact secretary Audrey Allen in advance on 843268.
