Naomi Folkard bowed out of the Beijing Olympics after losing in the last 16 of the women's individual archery event on Thursday morning.
The 24-year-old made a nervous start against Nami Hayakawa and despite a recovery that included two late scores of ten, the Japanese archer came through 106-97.

Meanwhile Park Sung-hyun of South Korea set a new Olympic record in her win over Greece's Elpida Romantzi.

She scored 115 points to join compatriots Joo Hyun-jung and Yun Ok-hee in the last eight.
