Warwick Tennis Club members have raised £60,000 to upgrade three ageing courts at their Hampton Road base.
The fund was completed by a Sport England grant and the club is now choosing a surface. They will be ready for play either this autumn or in spring 2009.

Chairman Steve Drummond said: "We're all delighted at the club. Obtaining the funds has been hard work and a long process involving many partners in the region, but it will be worth it if we can achieve our aims of having this exciting new surface which has all the characteristics of clay and yet can be played on all year round."

To join the club call 854447 or visit the website.
