Hibs lift cup at New Windmill
Leamington Hibs lifted the Cancer Cup at the New Windmill after seeing off Stockton 5-2.
Jag Bahi opened the scoring after 15 minutes but the villagers hit back to take the lead through Josh Tolley and Dave Ward.
Phil Daly equalised just before the break and Hibs made the result safe with a second Bahi goal and further strikes by Steve Baker and John Paul Turpin. Leamington president Mick Brady presented the trophy.
Super sub Jimmy Claridge struck twice to give Prestige Division One champions-elect Westlea Wanderers the edge in a 4-3 win over Khalsa. It was Westlea's closest game of the season - surprising as they had beaten the same side 6-0 in midweek.
Khalsa came from two goals down to lead 3-2 before Claridge turned things round. Marc Friend and Tom Friend got the other Westlea goals, with Trevor Holmes, Olly Pinto and Tunde Ajibade for Khalsa.
Greg Sherrington scored four in the midweek rout, with Kevin McGarvey and Marc Friend also on target for 100 per cent Wanderers.
Stockton, whose cup exploits have caused a fixture backlog, lost twice in midweek. John Paul Turpin and Steve Baker goals for Leamington Hibs inflicted a 2-0 defeat while Heart of England avenged their George Dutton Cup semi-final defeat with a 3-1 result.
Lee Coombes 2 and Chris Gagg scored for Heart, with Luke Cole getting Stockton's reply.
Whitnash Tavern completed the double over nearest challengers Wellesbourne to take the Division Two title - and a second promotion on the trot. Kyle Crowley put Tavern ahead with his 15th goal of the season but Lawrie Kendall equalised.
Matthew Rockliffe's penalty two minutes from the end of a tense second half settled the title in Tavern's favour.
Westlea Reserves are catching up on their Division Three fixtures without much success. They went down 1-0 to Chadwick End in midweek and were held 0-0 with Bishops Tachbrook at the weekend.
A Danny Dodds penalty was all Bubbenhall could manage at home to Chadwick End, who scored four.
Leamington Juniors moved closer to the Division Four crown with successive wins over bottom side Kineton. Graham Reeves got a hat-trick in a 4-0 midweek win, with Mark Scarborough also on target.
Kineton did better on Sunday, having lots of pressure and even missing a penalty before succumbing 3-0. Scarborough, Phil Glover and Adam Smith scored.
Ettington Rovers dropped points in their quest for second place, drawing 4-4 with Inter MB after being two up.
Alex Pitts 2, Will Dodds and George Price scored, with Paul Jackson 3 and Chris Lloyd for Inter.
Bishops Itchington are still chasing a Division Five double after beating basement boys St Peter's Celtic 5-3. Simon Peacey, James Etheridge, Tom Cooper, Jordan Cox and John Beecham scored, with Jamie Duffy 2 and Matthew Houghton for Celtic.
Bishops Tachbrook climbed out of the bottom two, swapping places with Kingsley Masters after a 4-1 win. Jab Khan 3 and Matt Oliver saw them through, with Neil Wright for the Masters.
Doubles from Adam Poole and Aaron Hamman helped Stockton Reserves to a 5-1 win over their Wellesbourne counterparts, with Bruno Casper also scoring.
Two Scott Millar goals and one from Jon Glanville gave Three Lions a 3-0 win over Tiddington.
