The WestEnders, Spa Centre, Leamington, January 27
We have seen a number of shows featuring songs from the West End musicals but this performance was the best and most enjoyable.

The WestEnders were formed by a group of singers appearing in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre, London, and for the last five years they have been performing very successfully all over the world.

The show featured three male and three female singers backed by their own four-piece band. Although the theatre was not full, the audience really enjoyed the WestEnders’ special arrangements and interpretation of the musical classics.

An additional bonus to the show was the Patterson School of Dance and Music from Coventry who performed with the group songs from Sound of Music and Joseph. The school also sang a song from the new musical Hairspray - all with great enthusiasm.

We strongly recommend that you get to see the WestEnders during their present UK tour - a great show - we haven't seen better for a long time.

Ray and Marianne Howes 9/10
