Man beaten up in Warwick park

A man was left bruised and shaken after being beaten up in a Warwick park yesterday (Thursday).
A man was left bruised and shaken after being beaten up in a Warwick park yesterday (Thursday).

The 20-year-old victim was sitting on a bench at the Emscote Road entrance to St Nicholas Park around 9.20pm when he was approached by three white men.

The attackers pushed and kicked him to the floor, then took his cream and white Burberry hooded sweater before making off towards Warwick town centre along Emscote Road.

The victim suffered bruising to his face and was taken to Warwick Hospital to be assessed.
