No point microchipping your cat if your number isn’t changed

Have your say

The recent article on the cat that was found and was not microchipped may give a false sense of security to cat owners who have had their cats microchipped.

I found a cat that was microchipped but had moved up from Sussex . . . unfortunately the owners had not changed the phone number. On delivering 100 leaflets in the area to try and find the owner of the cat I discovered several folk who had moved and not changed the numbers.

Perhaps in view of the current tv programmes on cats and interest in them you could alert folk to this.
