Witness appeal to violent attack in Leamington

A man, who had been inside the Tiller Pin pub in the Queensway, was attacked with broken glass and injured in his abdomen in the incident, which occured close to the pub on Friday December 13 at around 8.30pm.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm shortly afterwards. He was released on bail.

Police investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who was near the pub around the time of the assault and may be able to help officers with their enquiries.
