Warwickshire children choose their favourite book
More than 450 schoolchildren from across Warwickshire gathered at the Spa Centre in Leamington to find out who the winner of the county’s library service’s Junior Book Award.
The pupils, who had voted and discussed shortlisted titles, chose The Whizz Pop Chocolate Shop by Kate Saunders as their favourite. Shortlisted authors came to the event to chat to the children and sign books.
