A Warwick fundraiser went all out to reach his charity goal in a ten-pin bowling challenge - despite falling just short of his initial target.

Derek Reynolds attempted to score 2,015 pins from 15 frames during the challenge at Tenpin Bowling in Leamington on November 6.

But with the score in reach on the last frame he ended up with a total of 1,992.

But thanks to donations and a team bowling event he organised for later in the day, the sportsman managed to pull in £2,100 for the charity Jack’s Rainbow.

Jack’s Rainbow, which helps families after they have lost a child is a cause close to Mr Reynolds’ heart as his daughter Ruby died shortly after she was born prematurely in August 2010.
