Warwick family speak of their concern for missing man

THE family of a Warwick man who has been missing since New Year’s Day are urging people to help search for him.

Bernard Tandi (pictured) was last seen at his home in Portobello Way on January 1 at 6pm and since then, he has failed to attend his place of work or make contact with any family or friends.

Searches of his home and places he is known to go regularly have been carried out, but officers are still unaware of his whereabouts.

Mr Tandi’s family is becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing. They say his disappearance is completely out of character.

His sister Rose said: “We are really worried about him. We were just hoping that by now he would have turned up. I am distributing posters so people know what he looks like and am really concerned about him and his welfare and want to know he’s ok. We really love him and are really worried about him and want him to know this.

“If anyone has seen him please let the police know as soon as possible.“

He is described as an African man, 5ft 9ins tall, of a medium build with black short hair and brown eyes. It is not known what clothing he could be wearing but he usually wears jeans and he is a smoker.

Anyone who sees Mr Tandi or who may have information about his location, either in Warwick or any other location, is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101 or 415000.
