Warwick Castle welcomes the biggest bird in the UK.

Town centre dwellers should keep a sharp look-out for Rosie, the UK’s only free-flying Andean condor.

The bird - which has a huge wing span measuring 10ft 6ins - will be a welcome replacement for Stan, the white-tailed eagle who went missing last year.

Rosie is expected to be a star attraction at the castle’s twice-daily flying shows as she soars between the battlements.

Some believe the lost eagle is still alive and well and fending for itself in another part of the country.

But bird-watchers nationally have remained curiously quiet about any sightings in recent months.
