The traditions of Christmas both old and new brought Kenilworth’s High Street alive with music and lights.

Following last week’s lights switch-on in Warwick Road, last Thursday gave the chance for residents to enjoy another evening of festivities in the old part of the town.

The Christmas lights switch on took place in High Street, Kenilworth recently. A variety of stalls selling seasonal gifts together with entertainment for the children and a brass band were just some of the attractions that welcomed the attending crowds. NNL-140612-230855009

Our photographer Mike Baker joined the crowds to get a flavour of the fun - and of course the food too.

Visitors continued the festivities by popping into St Nicholas Church to see their Christmas tree festival, which featured trees from community groups and organisation across Kenilworth.
