Station treat for Cubs in WAGS Gang Show

Cub Scouts performing in this year's WAGS 2017 Gang Show were treated to a special visit to Leamington Station on Saturday joined by Chiltern Railway's station manager Leanne McCarthy and customer host Nick Rees.

As the Cubs are performing a sketch ‘Around The World’ which starts at the station, it was an ideal photo opportunity.

The Cubs’ producer Paul Wakeley said: “It is always a delight to work with such fantastic young people.

“The rehearsals have been going really well, and I know the Cubs are looking forward to showcasing what they have achieved on their whirlwind tour of the world.”

The Gang Show will be performed at the Royal Spa Centre from March 7 to 11 with evening performances and a matinee on the Saturday.

The cast of 130 young people are in their last weeks of rehearsing for the show.

The gang have also been fundraising for their chosen Charity ‘Guy’s Gift’ which supports bereaved children and young people and their families in Warwickshire.
