More than 100 people spent time at the event, which also incorporated a tenants’ roadshow run by the district council and was jointly organised by WAYC, the council, volunteers from Myton church and Active South Leamington, with some funding for a barbecue from Morrisons.

WAYC fundraiser Jane Puzey said: “The atmosphere was fantastic. It was a celebration event in the community and it was lovely to see so much activity in Ford’s Field.”
