Sometime between 11am and 1.45pm on Wednesday October 19 an unknown person entered an unsecured cloakroom at the rear of Sydenham Primary School in Calder Walk.

Two purses and a handbag were removed from the cloakroom.

Shortly afterwards, one of the victims received a call from a man claiming to be from the bank stating there had been unauthorised attempts to access their account.

They were asked for personal details including their pin number, which has been provided, and an amount of money was subsequently withdrawn before the victim cancelled the card.

A second victim was also called by someone claiming to be from the bank and part of a pin number was provided with an amount of money subsequently withdrawn.

A card was then used to purchase items.

Officers would like to speak to the woman pictured in the CCTV footage as they believe she may have information which could help with the investigation.
