Heritage and Culture Warwickshire have a range of activities at libraries and museums around the county which are aimed at anyone looking for something fun and educational for their children to do this Easter.

With everything from the Stone Age, fossils and a holiday club there is something for all ages.

Warwick’s St John’s Museum, Market Hall Museum and Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum will be the venues where youngsters can become a history detective or an archaeologist for the day.

They can also discover the story of the Great Fire of Warwick in 1694, how it started and how the town was rebuilt, or explore costume collections, including the military uniforms belonging to the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

An Arty Tots session will allow children to get creative with clay and a Marvellous Medicines event will allow youngsters to find out all about some traditional cures for all sorts of ills and which remedies are still used today.

Day-long events cost £24 per child with discounts available for booking more than one event while workshops cost £2.50 per session and require children to be accompanied by an adult.
