The community wood off Prince’s Drive will be open throughout the two-week break, for both casual visits to enjoy the space and for a number of workshops and activities.

On Wednesday (April 16), participants in ‘nature detective’ workshops can learn more about the natural environment; on Thursday (April 17), Keir Mitchell from Enharmonic Education is leading a family woodland adventure day, which will include activities such as campfire cooking, fire lighting, clay work, storytelling, whittling and tool use, den-building, role play, nature activities and foraging for food; and on Friday (April 18), people of all ages can make their own pizzas in the wood’s homemade tortoise-shaped pizza oven.
