Watch: Large tree comes down in Warwick

A large tree came down in Warwick today.

On Tuesday afternoon (August 4) a large tree in Hampton Road came down near the Marching Band building.

It is not yet known what has caused the tree to come down, but one resident, Matt Such said the roots of the tree looked rotten.

Matt also captured the moment the tree came down at around 2.13pm.

He said that police were called to the scene to direct traffic and the tree was cut up and removed from the road within a couple of hours.
