A museum and a sweet shop in Warwick have teamed up to host a Christmas gift collection for children in need.
The Market Hall Museum team are appealing for donations to their annual collection of Christmas gifts for Warwickshire Children’s Services.

Hide AdOver the last few years people generously donated to the appeal and the front of house team at the museum say it has been a highlight for them to facilitate the collection.
But due to lockdown and Tier 3 restrictions the museum is unable to open but thanks to a partnership with Mary's Sweet Memories in Market Place, the collection of gifts can now take place.
Victoria Goodall-Barber, visitor services and operations officer, said: “During these unprecedented times the need for charity is greater than ever, we thank the community in advance for their continued support of our annual appeal for local children in need.
"Also we would not be able to do it without the support of Mary's Sweet Memories, so thank you.”

Hide AdLinz Alexander of Marys Sweet Memories said: "We were more than happy to step in and be the collection point while the museum is unable to open due to Tier 3 restrictions – it’s such a great initiative and always shows how generous and kind local people are."
If you would like to donate a Christmas present it can be dropped to Mary's Sweet Memories at 23A Market Place up to December 10 between 10am and 5pm.
Gifts must be new, unwrapped and suitable for ages 0-16.
