Leamington factory at which employees expressed concerns over working during Coronavirus pandemic has temporarily closed as of today

Yesterday (Thursday March 26), The Courier reported how several workers at AGA Rangemaster factory in Clemence Street had expressed concerns over their working conditions amid the current Covid-19 situation.But the company has now decided to close all its manufacturing facilities, including Ketley, Leamington and Long Eaton effective from today.
The company has said: "AGA Rangemaster recognises that these are unprecedented and challenging times for everyone.

Hide Ad"The company has also moved to an emergency single-man, kerbside delivery service to reach those in desperate need of cooking facilities.
"A small number of drivers will operate on a voluntary basis while following social distancing and hygiene rules to maintain a service for customers without cooking facilities.
"A signature will not be requested for the product delivery, instead a photograph will be taken as proof.
"AGA Rangemaster continues to put the health and wellbeing of all employees at the forefront of every decision-making process, while monitoring the advice from the Government and WHO guidelines on an ongoing basis"
