A Guinness World Record for the 'world's largest online séance' has been set at one of Warwick's historic properties.
Last Sunday (November 1) UK-Haunted and Penny West 'the Wiccan Witch' used Guys Cliffe House for the setting for TV Channel Really’s Guinness World Record attempt.

The site has a rich history from being home to Guy of Warwick to being a hospital in World War One.
Really celebrated the spooky season by inviting paranormal fans to take part in a live séance hosted on the channel’s Facebook page.
It took place in the cellar at Guys Cliffe House which sits over the old chapel.

Four 'supernatural experts', including a Wiccan witch, guided viewers on the experience as they reached out to spirits.
The team at Really said the séance topped more than 9,000 live viewers, smashing the viewing figures needed to enter the record by over five times.
The channel says it now hold the Guinness World Records title for ‘most viewers for a séance livestream on Facebook’.

UK- Haunted are a duo of paranormal investigators who travel all over the UK to capture evidence of the paranormal, using innovative equipment, experiments and a more scientific approach to support their findings.
UK-Haunted was supported on the night by paranormal enthusiast and podcaster Nick Stoppani and Penny West the Wiccan Witch.
Penny has undertaken many investigations on both personal and professional properties and says she can 'cleanse properties of imbalances and restore harmony'.

Throughout the séance Penny said she repeatedly experienced the feeling of hands touching her hair and the group heard a number of mysterious knocking sounds and creaking doors.
The night included more scientific measures too including a scalar energy generator and spirit box that enables the spirits to communicate.
Through this, the group said they heard a message of ‘watch’ and ‘wait’ spoken through the radio signals which they asked the energies in the room to explain further.
