Party on the Pitch in memory of Simon Adams
The event is held in memory of former player Simon Adams who having been diagnosed with the disease in 2009 set about working his way through a ‘bucket list’ of personal goals.
One of Mr Adams’ aims was to raise £1 million to fund research into the disease and although he died in October 2011 the fund now stands at £350,000 with many fundraising events continuing in Southam, Windsor and Plymouth.
