Nicky is going for Mrs UK World win

Inspiring other wives and mothers to achieve success and express their inner and outer beauty is the aim of the Leamington woman who has been crowned Mrs Warwickshire.

Nicky Sanghera, 33, who owns three hair and beauty salons across Leamington and Warwick has been picked out of hundreds of applicants to reach the final ten entrants of the Mrs UK World competition which takes place in Beaconsfield, South Buckinghamshire, on Sunday.

The competition is for married women, with entrants judged on their intelligence, beauty, charisma and the time they give to others .

Mrs Sanghera said: “It’s all about inspiring married women and showing them that if they have a family and children it doesn’t stop them from doing anything.

“I’m not nervous about it at all, I’m just going to go with the flow and give one hundred per cent and even if I don’t win I’ll still be happy and maybe try again next year.”

Mrs Sanghera found out about the competition through the modelling work she does in her spare time and as a hobby.

As part of her entrance into the competition she has been fundraising for various good causes.

She has also been praised for her work with elderly people in the community.

On top of her three high street businesses, Mrs Sanghera also runs an online jewellery store .

At the age of 19 she gave birth to triplets Rosy, Ruma and Lovy, all now 14 and she also has a younger daughter, Aushleen who is four.

Sanj, 33, Mrs Sanghera’s husband of 14 years, also had to write a statement describing why she is such a good partner and mother.

She said: “He has been so supportive and works so hard.

“It has enabled me to run the businesses and look after the girls as well.”

In the national final Mrs Sanghera will be up against a cooking and nutrition presenter, an educational psychologist, a fitness instructor, a nurse, an airline stewardess, , a teacher, an image consultant, an actress and an educational business woman.

The winner will go on to represent the nation at the Mrs World final in Sophia, Bulgaria, on July 12.
