More fundraisers have been inspired to help young Matilda Henley from Kenilworth, who has a rare genetic condition which causes painful blisters to form on her eyeballs as they dry out.

This time it is staff from Natwest, who ran an event called ‘Funnies for Sunnies’ across 40 of its branches to raise money for the Fight for Sight campaign.

Area mortgage manager Steve Hutchings presented a cheque for £2,500 to Matilda and her family at the Leamington bank.
