Man is killed in crash near Gaydon
A man has died after being struck by a lorry on the M40 near Gaydon.
Two ambulance crews were called to the southbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 13 and 12 on Saturday afternoon, where the incident occured.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Sadly, nothing could be done to save the pedestrian, a man, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
The lorry driver and a woman who witnessed the incident were treated at the scene by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
