A British man thought to originate from Leamington sparked an internet appeal after he was found wandering the streets of Hurghada in Egypt having reportedly ‘lost his memory’.

Facebook user Hassan Mohsen, who is listed on the social media site as living in Egypt, posted photos of the man and his passport identified him as Craig Peter Munro, 35, of Leamington.

The man, identified as Craig Munro from Leamington, was found wandering the streets of Hurghada in Egypt.

And yesterday, Mr Mohsen posted on his wall that the man has now been reunited with his family.

Thousands of people responded to the the appeal and many have responded to express their happiness that the man was found.
