Warwick Castle loos, twinned with latrines in Sierra Leone

PUBLIC loos at both Warwick Castle and Buckingham Palace are among the noble conveniences nominated for an international Toilet Twinning project that should lead to people in developing countries accessing better sanitation.

An idea dreamed up by workers at the Tearfund and Leamington charity Cord, is to twin popular public toilets in Britain with specific latrines in countries like Cambodia, Sierra Leone or Bangladesh and so lead to their improvement.

For £60 people can even twin their own work or home toilet. For more information visit www.toilettwinning.org
