Vomiting bug: Warwick Hospital update - Wednesday 2pm

WARWICK Hospital is now allowing people to visit patients during a restricted period, following an outbreak of a vomiting illness on several wards.

There will be no visiting on Guy, Charlecote, Squire and Hatton Ward at Warwick Hospital, Nicol Unit at Stratford Hospital and Arden Court at Helen Ley to help prevent further spread.

All other wards will have restricted visiting for immediate family only from 6 to 8pm.

Children under the age of 16 will not be permitted to visit while the outbreak continues and visitors must wash their hands before and after entering wards.

Anyone who has had symptoms or has been in contact with somebody who has suffered diarrhoea or vomiting within the past 48 hours should not visit the hospitals.
