Town’s hidden poor

According to figures collated by the End Child Poverty campaign, there are 625 children living below the poverty line in the Warwick area, comprised of 328 in the west of the town, 181 in the north and 116 in the south. The percentage of low-income families in Leamington and Warwick as a whole is 11 per cent compared with five per cent in Kenilworth and Southam and 17 per cent in Nuneaton. Data was collated from 100 other charities.
