THREE mums were well ahead of Prime Minister David Cameron’s ideas about the Big Society.

Two years ago, after recognising the need for a community focal point in Hampton Magna, Debbie White, Ann Hill and Julia Smith set about raising money for an exciting new play area.

Next week the £83,000 remodelled park in Styles Close will be officially opened for everyone at 2.15pm on September 29.

But this week the mums, their children and other village supporters couldn’t resist checking out the innovative equipment that was bought with help from bodies like WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental) the district and county councils, Budbrooke Parish Council, Warwick Rotary and West Midlands Turf.
