Scientific fun and games

BIG bangs along with a whole lot of fizzing and foaming was going on at Claverdon Primary School on Monday when nearly 200 pupils took part in the annual science day event.

Teacher Jan McCorquodale said: “First we had a special presentation from the Mad Science group based in Leamington which we then followed up with workshops all week with different classes being inspired to experiment with fizzing and foaming, or oils and acids, or science in the kitchen. The children absolutely loved the practical and visual effects and learnt a lot.”
