Rotary lends a hand down on the farm

A £38,000 appeal to buy a mechanical horse to help teach disabled riders has already won the support of Warwick Rotary Club members.

In anticipation of volunteers at Lowlands Farm in Shrewley successfully raising the cash, Rotarians who work as architects and planners helped submit plans for a small building in the stableyard to house a push-button ‘animal.’

Rotary spokeswoman Jackie Crampton said: “Our members are local professionals working for the benefit of the community and so we were happy to pay the planning application fee and provide drawings free of charge.”

Anyone wishing to support the appeal or find out more can ring 077875 61069.
