Police seize drugs and weapons in Leamington raid

Cocaine and cannabis were seized by police officers who raided a house in Leamington this morning (Wednesday).

Officers from Warwickshire and West Mercia police forces arrested a 25-year-old man from Birmingham at the address in Camberwell Terrace, where knives and a firearm were also discovered.

The incident happened within Leamington’s ‘priority policing area’ - an area where crime is more likely to occur. The Warwickshire force is focusing efforts in Leamington, Nuneaton and Rugby under its recently launched Operation X.
