Outdoor service cancelled

HOLOCAUST Memorial Day will be marked on Sunday (Jan 27) with a service in St Mary’s Church, Old Square, Warwick, at 10.30am.

But the outdoor service which was intended to follow, at 11.40am at the war memorial in Church Street, has now been cancelled due to the weather.

Warwick mayor Cllr Elizabeth Higgins hopes that readings and events prepared for the outdoor service will now continue inside the church where she hopes local people of all, or no faith, will feel able to join her in rememering all those who have died as a result of genocide.
