OLD Town’s Portas Pilot team is holding a Community Celebration on Saturday to mark its successful bid for cash from the national project.

Clemens Street will be closed from 7am to 7pm in order to set up a live stage, stalls and other attractions and the celebrations will take place from 10am to 6pm.

The day will give visitors an opportunity to discuss the details of the bid document with the team,

There will also be an opportunity for businesses, residents and community groups to get involved and offer their services in more active roles.
