Myton festive card winners

THREE talented students from Myton School are celebrating success in a Christmas card design competition.

Ashley Asher, aged 17, who chose to paint a close-up Santa face, has won £100 for the school along with £50 worth of arts and craft items for herself after becoming overall winner in a competition organised by the Eastern Shires Publishing Organisation (ESPO) who sent her card to all their customers .

A student from Walsall was runner up but 13-year-old Myton pupil Jason Wong came in third with his snowy townscape. Then headteacher Paul MacIntyre chose a card designed by 17-year-old Faith Harvey for his own greetings.
