Muggers attacked victim from behind in Rugby Road robbery

MUGGERS pushed a man to the floor and kicked him in a robbery in Leamington.

The thieves attacked their victim, a 30-year-old man, from behind as he was pushing a bicycle along Rugby Road on Saturday August 18 at 4am.

They pushed him to the floor and kicked him before stealing his bike and wallet.

The man suffered injuries to his back and chest. His wallet was recovered later that morning but the bicycle, a black and white coloured Giant Revel, is still missing.

Police believe two or three people were involved in the robbery.
